What is NPSL?

The Bank will assign a Credit Limit basis your personal resources disclosed to the Bank, past spends and payment history. This limit is referred to as the Base Revolve Credit Limit.

NPSL (No pre-set spends limit) is a product feature that gives you additional spending flexibility above your Base Revolve Credit Limit.

With the NPSL feature, you can spend beyond your Base Revolve Credit limit. However, the NPSL feature does not imply a 'No' Spends limit. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to decline any transaction above the assigned credit limit at its sole discretion.

Can I buy a Ferrari using this card with NPSL feature on it?

No. NPSL does not mean a 'no' spending limit. IndusInd Bank reserves the right to decline any transaction above the assigned credit limit at its sole discretion. The credit limit and past spends and payment history determine your spends limit.

What is the value of extra credit which is granted above my Credit Limit? Is it a fixed value?

IndusInd Bank gives you additional spending flexibility above your Base Revolve Credit Limit after considering parameters like spends, payment pattern etc. The Bank reserves the right to increase or decrease this value.

What is the Base Revolve Credit Limit?

The Bank will assign a Credit Limit basis your personal resources disclosed to the Bank, past spends and payment history. This limit is referred to as the Base Revolve Credit Limit.

What will be the minimum amount due for payment if the balance increases above the Base revolve Credit Limit?

If the total Credit Card outstanding exceeds your Base Revolve Credit limit, the Minimum Payment Due will be equal to 5% of the Total Outstanding or the excess amount spent above your Base Revolve Limit (whichever is higher).

For eg. If your assigned Base Revolve Credit Limit is Rs. 10,00,000 and you have spent Rs. 12,50,000 on your Credit Card in a statement cycle, your Minimum Amount due will be calculated as:

5% x (Rs. 12,50,000) = Rs. 62,500

OR

Excess amount spent above your Base Revolve Credit limit (Rs. 12,50,000 – Rs. 10,00,000) = Rs. 2,50,000

Hence, in this case your Minimum Payment Due will be Rs. 2,50,000 (which is higher than Rs. 62,500).
